Related Product Information for FcRn&B2M recombinant protein
FcRn complex consist of two subunits: IgG receptor FcRn large subunit p51 (alpha chain) and Beta-2-microglobulin (Beta chain). The complexes is similar in structure to MHC class I-like heterodimer. Beta-2-microglobulin involved in the presentation of peptide antigens to the immune system. FcRn binds to the Fc region of monomeric immunoglobulins gamma, mediates the uptake of IgG from milk,Possible role in transfer of immunoglobulin G from mother to fetus. A principal component of antibody transport is the neonatal receptor for the Fc portion of immunoglobulin, a heterodimer of a MHC-1 alpha-chain homolog (FcRn) and beta-2-microglobulin (B2M).

Uniprot Description

B2M: Component of the class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC). Involved in the presentation of peptide antigens to the immune system. Heterodimer of an alpha chain and a beta chain. Beta-2- microglobulin is the beta-chain of major histocompatibility complex class I molecules. Polymers of beta 2-microglobulin can be found in tissues from patients on long-term hemodialysis. Belongs to the beta-2-microglobulin family.

Product Notes

The FcRn&B2M b2m (Catalog #AAA2569089) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Human Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Ala24-Ser2 97&Ile21-M et119. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FcRn & B2M Heterodimer Biotinylated, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
