Activity Data (Figure. The binding activity of TXLNa with PDIA3.Taxilin Alpha (TXLNa) also known as interleukin-14 (IL-14) is a cytokine that controls the growth and proliferation of both normal and cancerous B cells. TXLNa induces B-cell proliferation, inhibits antibody secretion, and expands selected B-cell subgroups. This interleukin is produced mainly by T cells and certain malignant B cells. Besides, Protein Disulfide Isomerase A3 (PDIA3) has been identified as an interactor of TXLNa, thus a binding ELISA assay was conducted to detect the interaction of recombinant human TXLNa and recombinant human PDIA3. Briefly, TXLNa were diluted serially in PBS, with 0.01% BSA (pH 7.4). Duplicate samples of 100uL were then transferred to PDIA3-coated microtiter wells and incubated for 2h at 37 degree C. Wells were washed with PBST and incubated for 1h with anti-TXLNa pAb, then aspirated and washed 3 times. After incubation with HRP labelled secondary antibody, wells were aspirated and washed 3 times. With the addition of substrate solution, wells were incubated 15-25 minutes at 37 degree C. Finally, add 50uL stop solution to the wells and read at 450nm immediately. The binding activity of TXLNa and PDIA3 was shown in Figure 1, and this effect was in a dose dependent manner.)

Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80 degree C for 12 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Product Notes

The TXLNa txlna (Catalog #AAA2105130) is an Active Protein and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is Lys328~Glu531. AAA Biotech's Taxilin Alpha (TXLNa) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Cell Culture, Activity Assays. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TXLNa txlna for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Taxilin Alpha (TXLNa), Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
