Rat Acetyl-CoA carboxylase 1 ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
catalyzes the rate-limiting carboxylation of acetyl CoA to malonyl CoA during long-chain fatty acid synthesis [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
ACC1: a subunit of acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC), a multifunctional enzyme system. Catalyzes the carboxylation of acetyl-CoA to malonyl-CoA, the rate-limiting step in fatty acid synthesis. Phosphorylation by AMPK or PKA inhibits the enzymatic activity of ACC. ACC-alpha is the predominant isoform in liver, adipocyte and mammary gland. ACC-beta is the major isoform in skeletal muscle and heart. Phosphorylation regulates its activity.

Product Notes
The Rat Acaca acaca (Catalog #AAA2886387) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2886387 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat Acaca. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Acetyl-CoA carboxylase 1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
