Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of extracts from various samples, using Phospho-HIPK1/2/3 (Tyr352/Tyr361/Tyr359) Antibody.Lane 1: Hela cells(serum starvation treatment), blocked with antigen-specific peptides,Lane 2: Hela cells(serum starvation treatment),Lane 3: HepG2 cells(heat shock treatment).)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of HIPK1/2/3 (Phospho-Tyr352/361/359) using TNF-α treated A2780 whole cell lysates.-/+ means absence or presence of N peptide(non-phospho peptide) and P peptide(phospho peptide).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(At 1/200 staining Rat testis tissue sections by IHC-P. The tissue was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. The tissue was then blocked and incubated with the antibody for 1.5 hours at 22 degree C. An HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit antibody was used as the secondary antibody.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(At 1/200 staining Mouse ganstric tissue sections by IHC-P.
(At 1/200 staining Human kidney tissue sections by IHC-P.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the Ser/Thr family of protein kinases and HIPK subfamily. It phosphorylates homeodomain transcription factors and may also function as a co-repressor for homeodomain transcription factors. Alternative splicing results in four transcript variants encoding four distinct isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
HIPK1: homeodomain interacting protein kinase 1 is a CMGC kinase of the DYRK family. May play a role as a corepressor for homeodomain transcription factors. Phosphorylates DAXX in response to stress, and mediates its translocation from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. Expression elevated in many breast cancer cell lines. Null mice are resistant to carcinogens. Binds the p53 tumor suppressor. 4 alternatively spliced isoforms of the human protein have been described.
