Related Product Information for anti-SMARCA1 antibody
This gene encodes a member of the SWI/SNF family of proteins. The encoded protein is an ATPase which is expressed in diverse tissues and contributes to the chromatin remodeling complex that is involved in transcription. The protein may also play a role in DNA damage, growth inhibition and apoptosis of cancer cells. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Uniprot Description

SMARCA1: Energy-transducing component of NURF (nucleosome- remodeling factor) and CERF (CECR2-containing-remodeling factor) complexes. Both complexes facilitate the perturbation of chromatin structure in an ATP-dependent manner. Potentiates neurite outgrowth. May be involved in brain development by regulating En-1 and En-2 expression. May be involved in the development of luteal cells. Part of the nucleosome-remodeling factor (NURF) complex which consists of SMARCA1; BPTF; RBBP4 and RBBP7. Part of the CECR2-containing-remodeling factor (CERF) complex which contains CECR2 and SMARCA1. Interacts with PRLR. Belongs to the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family. ISWI subfamily. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Cell development/differentiation; EC 3.6.1.-; EC 3.6.4.-; Helicase; Transcription regulation

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: Xq25-q26.1

Cellular Component: intracellular membrane-bound organelle; nucleoplasm; nucleus

Molecular Function: ATP binding; DNA binding; DNA-dependent ATPase activity; helicase activity; nucleosome binding; protein binding; transcription factor binding

Biological Process: ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling; brain development; chromatin remodeling; covalent chromatin modification; DNA strand renaturation; neuron differentiation; positive regulation of transcription, DNA-templated; transcription, DNA-dependent

The SMARCA1 smarca1 (Catalog #AAA9451743) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SMARCA1 Conjugated Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SMARCA1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Most Applications. Suggested Dilution: AF350 conjugated: most applications: 1:50-1:250 AF405 conjugated: most applications: 1:50-1:250 AF488 conjugated: most applications: 1:50-1:250 AF555 conjugated: most applications: 1:50-1:250 AF594 conjugated: most applications: 1:50-1:250 AF647 conjugated: most applications: 1:50-1:250 AF680 conjugated: most applications: 1:50-1:250 AF750 conjugated: most applications: 1:50-1:250 Biotin conjugated: working with enzyme-conjugated streptavidin, most applications: 1:50-1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SMARCA1 smarca1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SMARCA1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
