Related Product Information for anti-GSTP1 antibody
Glutathione S-transferases (GSTs) are a family of enzymes that play an important role in detoxification by catalyzing the conjugation of many hydrophobic and electrophilic compounds with reduced glutathione. Based on their biochemical, immunologic, and structural properties, the soluble GSTs are categorized into 4 main classes: alpha, mu, pi, and theta. This GST family member is a polymorphic gene encoding active, functionally different GSTP1 variant proteins that are thought to function in xenobiotic metabolism and play a role in susceptibility to cancer, and other diseases. Product Notes

The GSTP1 gstp1 (Catalog #AAA9400874) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The glutathione transferase antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's glutathione transferase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Western blotting: 1:500-1:3000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:250 Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GSTP1 gstp1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "glutathione transferase, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
