Rabbit TLL1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-TLL1 antibody
TLL1 Antibody (C-term)
WB~~1:1000
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(TLL1 antibody (C-term) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human prostate carcinoma followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the TLL1 antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Western Blot (WB)
(TLL1 Antibody (C-term) western blot analysis in ZR-75-1 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the TLL1 antibody detected the TLL1 protein (arrow).)
metalloprotease and is a subfamily member of the metzincin family.
A similar protein in mice is required during heart development and
specifically processes procollagen C-propeptides and chordin at
similar cleavage sites.

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes an astacin-like, zinc-dependent, metalloprotease that belongs to the peptidase M12A family. This protease processes procollagen C-propeptides, such as chordin, pro-biglycan and pro-lysyl oxidase. Studies in mice suggest that this gene plays multiple roles in the development of mammalian heart, and is essential for the formation of the interventricular septum. Allelic variants of this gene are associated with atrial septal defect type 6. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Uniprot Description
TLL1: Protease which processes procollagen C-propeptides, such as chordin, pro-biglycan and pro-lysyl oxidase. Required for the embryonic development. Predominant protease, which in the development, influences dorsal-ventral patterning and skeletogenesis. Defects in TLL1 are the cause of atrial septal defect type 6 (ASD6). A congenital heart malformation characterized by incomplete closure of the wall between the atria resulting in blood flow from the left to the right atria. Belongs to the peptidase M12A family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The TLL1 tll1 (Catalog #AAA9210978) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 874-901. The TLL1 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Mouse) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TLL1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). IHC~~1:50~100 WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TLL1 tll1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TLL1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
