ATP8 Blocking Peptide | MT-ATP8 blocking peptide
ATP8 Blocking Peptide
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
ATP8: Mitochondrial membrane ATP synthase (F(1)F(0) ATP synthase or Complex V) produces ATP from ADP in the presence of a proton gradient across the membrane which is generated by electron transport complexes of the respiratory chain. F-type ATPases consist of two structural domains, F(1) - containing the extramembraneous catalytic core and F(0) - containing the membrane proton channel, linked together by a central stalk and a peripheral stalk. During catalysis, ATP synthesis in the catalytic domain of F(1) is coupled via a rotary mechanism of the central stalk subunits to proton translocation. Part of the complex F(0) domain. Minor subunit located with subunit a in the membrane. Belongs to the ATPase protein 8 family.
Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Mitochondrial; EC 3.6.3.14; Hydrolase; Transporter
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: -

Product Notes
The MT-ATP8 mt-atp8 (Catalog #AAA824092) is a Blocking Peptide produced from Synthetic and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ATP8 Blocking Peptide reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ATP8 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Blocking (BL). Blocking Peptide to the diluted primary antibody in a molar ratio of 10:1 (peptide to antibody) and incubate the mixture at 4 degree C for overnight or at room temperature for 2 hours. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MT-ATP8 mt-atp8 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ATP8, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
