Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

(Immunohistochemical analysis of DNAL4 staining in human breast cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.)

NCBI Description

This gene encodes an axonemal dynein light chain which functions as a component of the outer dynein arms complex. This complex acts as the molecular motor that provides the force to move cilia in an ATP-dependent manner. The encoded protein is expressed in tissues with motile cilia or flagella and may be involved in the movement of sperm flagella. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2014]

Uniprot Description

DNAL4: Force generating protein of respiratory cilia. Produces force towards the minus ends of microtubules. Dynein has ATPase activity. Belongs to the dynein light chain family.

Cellular Component: dynein complex; microtubule; cytoplasm; plasma membrane; cilium

Molecular Function: motor activity

Biological Process: nerve growth factor receptor signaling pathway; metabolic process; microtubule-based process

Disease: Mirror Movements 3

Product Notes

The DNAL4 dnal4 (Catalog #AAA8214076) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-DNAL4 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat, Bovine, Porcine and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DNAL4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB (1/500 - 1/1000), IHC (1/100 - 1/200). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DNAL4 dnal4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DNAL4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
