Reconstitution
A hardcopy of COA with reconstitution instruction is sent along with the products. Please refer to it for detailed information.
Preparation and Storage
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20 degree C to -80 degree C. Store it under sterile conditions at -20 degree C to -80 degree C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
In general, recombinant proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped at ambient temperature. Bulk packages of recombinant proteins are provided as frozen liquid.
They are shipped out with blue ice.

Related Product Information for DNAJC30 recombinant protein
Background: DNAJC30 is a member of the DNAJ molecular chaperone homology domain-containing protein family. DNAJC30 gene is deleted in williams syndrome, a multisystem developmental disorder caused by the deletion of contiguous genes at 7q11.23. DNAJC30 is expressed in brain, heart, kidney, liver, lung, spleen, stomach and testis. It contains 1 J domain. DNAJC30 is located in the Williams-Beuren syndrome (WBS) critical region. WBS results from a hemizygous deletion of several genes on chromosome 7q11.23, thought to arise as a consequence of unequal crossing over between highly homologous low-copy repeat sequences flanking the deleted region.

NCBI Description

This intronless gene encodes a member of the DNAJ molecular chaperone homology domain-containing protein family. This gene is deleted in Williams syndrome, a multisystem developmental disorder caused by the deletion of contiguous genes at 7q11.23. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Tissue specificity: Expressed in brain, heart, kidney, liver, lung, spleen, stomach and testis. Ref.1

Involvement in disease: DNAJC30 is located in the Williams-Beuren syndrome (WBS) critical region. WBS results from a hemizygous deletion of several genes on chromosome 7q11.23, thought to arise as a consequence of unequal crossing over between highly homologous low-copy repeat sequences flanking the deleted region.

Sequence similarities: Contains 1 J domain.

Product Notes

The DNAJC30 dnajc30 (Catalog #AAA8121539) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Ser39-Gly1 24. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DNAJC30, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
