Preparation and Storage
This antibody can be stored at 2-8 degree C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20 degree C to -80 degree C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

RIOK2 is a member of the RIO (right open reading frame) kinase family. Studies have revealed the involvement of RIO kinases in glioma cell growth and expansion. RIOK2 is post-transcriptionally targeted by miR-4744, the low miR-4744 and high RIOK2 levels in glioma may contribute to tumor cell infiltration by promoting the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). RIOK2 and Nin one binding (NOB1) protein are important accessory factors in ribosome assembly and are highly expressed in malignant tumors; moreover, they interact with each other. The expression of RIOK2 and NOB1 will improve the rate in the early stages of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). RIOK2 and NOB1 might be potential targets for NSCLC therapy. The RIO protein kinases include RIOK1, RIOK2, and RIOK3. Emerging evidence has suggested an important role of RIO kinases in cancer cell proliferation, apoptosis, migration, and invasion.
