Applicable Applications for anti-nanH antibody
Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS/FCM), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP)
Application Notes
WB: This antibody can be used at 1:500-1:1000 with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect Clostridium Perfringens Neuraminidase in WB. Using a DAB detection system, the detection limit for Clostridium Perfringens Neuraminidase is approximately 1ng/lane under non-reducing conditions and 2ng/lane under reducing conditions.
ELISA: 1:1000-1:2000
Immunogen
Recombinant Clostridium Perfringens Neuraminidase Protein
Conjugation
Unconjugated
Preparation
This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Clostridium Perfringens Neuraminidase. The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Preparation and Storage
This antibody can be stored at 2-8 degree C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20 degree C to -80 degree C. Preservative-Free. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Related Product Information for anti-nanH antibody
Clostridium perfringens/C. perfringens (formerly known as C. welchii) is a Gram-positive, rod-shaped, anaerobic, spore-forming bacterium of the genus Clostridium. C. perfringens is ubiquitous in nature and can be found as a normal component of decaying vegetation, marine sediment, the intestinal tract of humans and other vertebrates, insects, and soil. C. perfringens is commonly encountered in infections as a benign component of the normal flora. In this case, its role in disease is minor. Infections due to C. perfringens show evidence of tissue necrosis, bacteremia, emphysematous cholecystitis, and gas gangrene, which is also known as clostridial myonecrosis. NA, also called sialidases, specifically catalyze the hydrolysis removal of terminal sialic acid residues from viral and cellular glycoconjugates. C. Perfringens neuraminidase catalyzes the hydrolysis of alpha-(2->3)-, alpha-(2->6)-, glycosidic linkages of terminal sialic acid residues in oligosaccharides, glycoproteins, glycolipids, colominic acid and synthetic substrates, but has little activity against the alpha2-8 glycosidic linkages. The function of the neuraminidase is to release sialic acids for use as carbon and energy sources for the non-pathogenic bacterium, while in pathogenic microorganisms, sialidases have been suggested to be pathogenic factors

Product Notes

The C. Perfringens Neuraminidase nanh (Catalog #AAA8105612) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-C. Perfringens Neuraminidase Antibody, Mouse Monoclonal reacts with C.perfringens and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's C. Perfringens Neuraminidase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS/FCM), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP). ELISA: 1:1000-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the C. Perfringens Neuraminidase nanh for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "C. Perfringens Neuraminidase, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
