Related Product Information for anti-N antibody
Description:
N polyclonal antibody MBS7052613 was produced in the rabbit immunized by using the Recombinant Lassa virus Nucleoprotein protein (1-569AA) as the immunogen. The target protein N encapsidates the genome, protecting it from nucleases. The encapsidated genomic RNA is termed the nucleocapsid (NC). This protein serves as template for viral transcription and replication. The increased presence of protein N in host cell does not seem to trigger the switch from transcription to replication as observed in other negative strain RNA viruses.

This Rabbit anti-Lassa virus N Polyclonal antibody was tested in the ELISA. The non-conjugated IgG got purified by protein G and reached up to 95% in purity. It reacts with the N proteins of lassa virus-origin and may be used to detect the endogenous levels of N protein.

Uniprot Description

Encapsidates the genome, protecting it from nucleases. The encapsidated genomic RNA is termed the nucleocapsid (NC). Serves as template for viral transcription and replication. The increased presence of protein N in host cell does not seem to trigger the switch from transcription to replication as observed in other negative strain RNA viruses. Disables the host innate defense by interfering with beta interferon (IFNB) production through the inhibition of host IRF3 phosphorylation and activation by host IKBKE. Through the interaction with host IKBKE, strongly inhibits the phosphorylation and nuclear translocation of IRF3, a protein involved in IFN activation pathway, leading to the inhibition of IFNB and IRF3-dependent promoters activation ().

Product Notes

The N n (Catalog #AAA7052613) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The N Antibody reacts with Lassa virus and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's N can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the N n for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "N, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
