Related Product Information for anti-ruvA antibody
The RuvA-RuvB complex in the presence of ATP renatures cruciform structure in supercoiled DNA with palindromic sequence, indicating that it may promote strand exchange reactions in homologous recombination. RuvAB is a helicase that mediates the Holliday junction migration by localized denaturation and reannealing. RuvA stimulates, in the presence of DNA, the weak ATPase activity of RuvB. Binds both single- and double-stranded DNA (dsDNA). Binds preferentially to supercoiled rather than to relaxed dsDNA.

NCBI Description

Binds Holliday junction as two tetramers (an octamer) and each tetrameric half recruits one RuvB hexameric helicase. [More information is available at EcoGene: EG10923]. RuvABC is an enzymatic complex which functions in recombination pathways to by binding to recombinational junctions and catalyzing strand cleavage and branch migration. [More information is available at EcoCyc: RUVA].

Uniprot Description

Product Notes

The ruvA ruva (Catalog #AAA7006536) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ruvA Antibody; HRP conjugated reacts with E Coli and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ruvA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ruvA ruva for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ruvA, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
