NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
FPR2: Low affinity receptor for N-formyl-methionyl peptides, which are powerful neutrophils chemotactic factors. Binding of FMLP to the receptor causes activation of neutrophils. This response is mediated via a G-protein that activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The activation of LXA4R could result in an anti-inflammatory outcome counteracting the actions of proinflammatory signals such as LTB4 (leukotriene B4). Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
Protein type: Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Receptor, GPCR; Membrane protein, integral; Membrane protein, multi-pass; GPCR, family 1
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 19q13.3-q13.4
Cellular Component: plasma membrane; integral to membrane
Molecular Function: G-protein coupled receptor activity; N-formyl peptide receptor activity
Biological Process: G-protein coupled receptor protein signaling pathway; inflammatory response; cell adhesion; chemotaxis; cell motility

Product Notes
The FPR2 fpr2 (Catalog #AAA619362) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Formyl Peptide Receptor-like 1 (FPRL1, Formyl Peptide Receptor 2, FPR2, FMLP R I, FMLP R II, FMLP-related Receptor I, FMLPX, FPR2A, FPRH1, FPRH2, HM63, Lipoxin A4 Receptor, LXA4 Receptor, LXA4R, RFP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Formyl Peptide Receptor-like 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF). Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1:600 Western Blot: 1:6000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FPR2 fpr2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Formyl Peptide Receptor-like 1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
