Application Notes
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: Western Blot: 5-10ug/ml for 2hrs at RT.
Immunohistochemistry (formalin/paraffin): 1:50 for 60 min at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from C-terminus of the precursor form of the mouse Flk-1. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic
Positive Control
Hey cells. Angiosarcoma
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at-20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at-20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Related Product Information for anti-Flk-1 Receptor Tyrosine Kinase antibody
Flk-1/KDR/vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2, a cell membrane receptor kinase, is a high affinity receptor for vascular endothelial growth factor and is putatively involved in the growth of endothelial cells and angiogenesis. It contains seven immunoglobulin like sequences in the extracellular domain and exhibits sequence similarity to Flt-1 and Flt-4.

Product Notes

The Flk-1 Receptor Tyrosine Kinase (Catalog #AAA615221) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Flk-1 Receptor Tyrosine Kinase (KDR, VEGFR2) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Flk-1 Receptor Tyrosine Kinase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Flk-1 Receptor Tyrosine Kinase for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Flk-1 Receptor Tyrosine Kinase, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
