Related Product Information for anti-Ganglioside GD3, O-acetyl antibody
Gangliosides play vital roles in various cellular functions such as cell-cell adhesion, communication, and cell-substrate interactions. The divers sugar groups are generated by different types of O-substitutions, usually O-acetyl esters, of the parent molecules. D1.1 is raised against B49 cell line, and it specifically recognizes O-acetyl gangliosides. O-acetyl ganglioside is found in developing rat embryonic neuroectoderm and many human melanoma cells. In developing rat cerebellum, the O-acetyl ganglioside antigen was localized by immunofluorescence to germinal cells of the external granule layer. The D1.1 antigen is a marker for germinal cells, and the acquisition and subsequent loss of it is an aspect of the biochemical maturation of nervous and glial cells.

Product Notes

The Ganglioside GD3, O-acetyl (Catalog #AAA601365) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Ganglioside GD3, O-acetyl reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Ganglioside GD3, O-acetyl can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 2-5ug/ml Immunofluorescence: 2-5ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Ganglioside GD3, O-acetyl for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Ganglioside GD3, O-acetyl, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
