Related Product Information for anti-PTX3 antibody
Pentraxin 3 (PTX3), also known as TSG-14, belongs to the pentraxin family, which was named originally for the homopentameric structure formed by its members. PTX3/TSG-14 is a long pentraxin that contains a pentraxin-like domain at its carboxy-terminus with amino acid sequence similarity with short pentraxins (C-reactive protein and serum amyloid P component). PTX3 is a marker of the acute phase response and is highly expressed in advanced atherosclerotic plaques.

Product Notes
The PTX3 ptx3 (Catalog #
AAA601109) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PTX3 (Long Pentraxin, TSG14) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PTX3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PTX3 ptx3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of
"PTX3, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of
the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always
suggest centrifuging these vials
to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to
opening. Please be advised that
certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an
additional dry ice fee may also be
required.
