Related Product Information for anti-Tacr1 antibody
SPR encodes an aldo-keto reductase that catalyzes the NADPH-dependent reduction of pteridine derivatives and is important in the biosynthesis of tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4). Mutations in this gene result in DOPA-responsive dystonia due to sepiaterin reductase deficiency. A pseudogene has been identified on chromosome 1.

NCBI Description

mediates neuropeptide signaling; may play a role in pain sensitivity; may mediate baroreflex transmission for blood pressure regulation [RGD, Feb 2006]

Uniprot Description

TACR1: This is a receptor for the tachykinin neuropeptide substance P. It is probably associated with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The rank order of affinity of this receptor to tachykinins is: substance P > substance K > neuromedin-K. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Membrane protein, multi-pass; GPCR, family 1; Receptor, GPCR

Cellular Component: cell surface; dendrite; cytoplasm; integral to membrane; plasma membrane

Molecular Function: substance P receptor activity

Biological Process: response to nicotine; tachykinin signaling pathway; positive regulation of leukocyte migration; response to hormone stimulus; response to morphine; response to pain; sensory perception of pain; positive regulation of saliva secretion; response to organic cyclic substance; response to estradiol stimulus; behavioral response to pain; elevation of cytosolic calcium ion concentration; regulation of smooth muscle cell migration; learning and/or memory; neuropeptide signaling pathway; positive regulation of lymphocyte proliferation; regulation of blood pressure; positive regulation of stress fiber formation; positive regulation of action potential; response to electrical stimulus; angiotensin mediated drinking behavior; associative learning; positive regulation of synaptic transmission, cholinergic; regulation of smooth muscle cell proliferation; eating behavior; positive regulation of synaptic transmission, GABAergic; positive regulation of hormone secretion; positive regulation of vascular permeability; positive regulation of ossification; response to ethanol; long-term memory; smooth muscle contraction involved in micturition; response to heat; response to ozone; operant conditioning; positive regulation of vasoconstriction; sperm ejaculation; response to progesterone stimulus; acute inflammatory response; positive regulation of blood pressure; positive regulation of epithelial cell proliferation

Product Notes

The Tacr1 tacr1 (Catalog #AAA6004814) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SPR, CT (SPR, Sepiapterin reductase) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SPR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Tacr1 tacr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SPR, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
