Related Product Information for PDE1B assay system
Background/Introduction: The protein encoded by PDE1B gene belongs to the cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase (PDE) family, and PDE1 subfamily. Members of the PDE1 family are calmodulin-dependent PDEs that are stimulated by a calcium-calmodulin complex. This PDE has dual-specificity for the second messengers, cAMP and cGMP, with a preference for cGMP as a substrate. cAMP and cGMP function as key regulators of many important physiological processes.

Product Notes

The PDE1B pde1b (Catalog #AAA433638) is an Assay System and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. cAMP dependent human PDE1B cell-based assay; cell-based high-throughput screening of human PDE1B inhibitors. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PDE1B pde1b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Phosphodiesterase 1B, Assay System" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
