NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene belongs to a highly conserved gene family encoding EPS15 homology (EH) domain-containing proteins. The protein-binding EH domain was first noted in EPS15, a substrate for the epidermal growth factor receptor. The EH domain has been shown to be an important motif in proteins involved in protein-protein interactions and in intracellular sorting. The protein encoded by this gene is thought to play a role in the endocytosis of IGF1 receptors. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. Product Notes
The EHD1 ehd1 (Catalog #AAA423832) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat Anti-EHD1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse Expected from sequence similarity: Human, Mouse, Rat, Cow and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's EHD1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Peptide ELISA (EIA), WB, Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000 IHC: Paraffin embedded Human Thymus and Brain (Cortex). Recommended concentration: 3.75ug/ml. IF: Strong expression of the protein seen in the membranes and cytoplasm of HeLa cells. Recommended concentration: 10ug/ml. FC/FACS: Flow cytometric analysis of HeLa cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EHD1 ehd1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "EHD1, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
