Intended Use: The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm using a spectrophotometer. In order to measure the concentration ofCXCL1in the sample, This CXCL1ELISA Kit includes a set of calibration standards. The calibration standards are assayed at the same time as the samples and allow the operator to produce a standard curve of Optical Density versusCXCL1concentration. The concentration ofCXCL1in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

acts as a neutrophil chemoattractant; may play a role in acute phase inflammatory response [RGD, Feb 2006]

Uniprot Description

CXCL2: Produced by activated monocytes and neutrophils and expressed at sites of inflammation. Hematoregulatory chemokine, which, in vitro, suppresses hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation. GRO-beta(5-73) shows a highly enhanced hematopoietic activity. Belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family.

Protein type: Secreted; Secreted, signal peptide; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis

Cellular Component: extracellular space

Molecular Function: growth factor activity; chemokine activity; CXCR chemokine receptor binding

Biological Process: neutrophil chemotaxis; response to amphetamine; positive regulation of potassium ion transport; response to glucocorticoid stimulus; response to lipopolysaccharide; positive regulation of leukocyte chemotaxis; response to estradiol stimulus; regulation of cell proliferation; G-protein coupled receptor protein signaling pathway; elevation of cytosolic calcium ion concentration; response to heat; positive regulation of superoxide release; response to molecule of bacterial origin; response to gamma radiation; immune response; acute inflammatory response

Product Notes

The Rat CXCL1 cxcl1 (Catalog #AAA3807605) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA3807605 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat CXCL1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CXC-Chemokine Ligand 1 (CXCL1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
