Related Product Information for anti-CD79 alpha antibody
CD79a molecule, immunoglobulin-associated alpha, also known as mb-1, is expressed in B lymphocytes and is part of the B-cell antigen receptor complex.[1] This complex consists of a clonally restricted antigen-binding molecule (membrane Ig) associated noncovalently with an 'invariant' transducer/transporter complex. It is required in cooperation with CD79b for initiation of the signal transduction cascade activated by binding of antigen to the B-cell antigen receptor complex (BCR) which leads to internalization of the complex, trafficking to late endosomes and antigen presentation. [2] It is interacts with and increases activity of some Src-family tyrosine kinases. And also represses BCR signaling during development of immature B-cells. [3]

Product Notes

The CD79 alpha (Catalog #AAA355200) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CD79alpha antibody reacts with Human, mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD79 alpha can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). WB (1:1000-2000); ICC (1:50-100). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD79 alpha for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD79 alpha, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
