This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against IGFBP4. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.

Target Description: IGFBP4 is a member of the insulin-like growth factor binding protein (IGFBP) family. IGFBP4 is a protein with an IGFBP domain and a thyroglobulin type-I domain. The protein binds both insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) I and II and circulates in the plasma in both glycosylated and non-glycosylated forms. Binding of this protein prolongs the half-life of the IGFs and alters their interaction with cell surface receptors. This gene is a member of the insulin-like growth factor binding protein (IGFBP) family and encodes a protein with an IGFBP domain and a thyroglobulin type-I domain. Product Notes

The IGFBP4 igfbp4 (Catalog #AAA3207863) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IGFBP4 antibody - middle region reacts with Cow, Dog, Goat, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat, Sheep and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IGFBP4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IGFBP4 igfbp4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: RALERLAASQ SRTHEDLYII PIPNCDRNGN FHPKQCHPAL DGQRGKCWCV. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IGFBP4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
