Eotaxin 1; Rat Eotaxin 1 ELISA Kit; EOTAXIN 1 elisa kit
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Rat
Specificity
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Rat EOTAXIN 1 and analogues was observed.
Sequence Length
97
Samples
Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces, Urine and Body Fluids
Assay Type
Sandwich
Detection Range
125 pg/ml - 4000 pg/ml.
Sensitivity
10 pg/ml.
Intended Uses
This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic applications! It is intended to be determinated EOTAXIN 1 concentrations in Rat serum, plasma and other body fluids. Using Purified Rat EOTAXIN 1 antibody to coat Microelisa Stripplate wells to make solid-phase antibody, then add EOTAXIN 1 and EOTAXIN 1 antibody which has been labeled with HRP to wells, then the reactants become antibody-antigen-antibody-enzyme complex, after washing completely, add TMB substrate solution, TMB substrate becomes blue color under HRP enzyme-catalyzed, reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of EOTAXIN 1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay CV (%) is less than 15%.
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. [CV(%) = SD/mean ×100]
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C

NCBI Description

This gene is one of several chemokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Chemokines form a superfamily of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The superfamily is divided into four subfamilies based on the arrangement of the N-terminal cysteine residues of the mature peptide. This chemokine, a member of the CC subfamily, displays chemotactic activity for eosinophils, but not mononuclear cells or neutrophils. This eosinophil-specific chemokine is thought to be involved in eosinophilic inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, asthma and parasitic infections. Uniprot Description

CCL11: In response to the presence of allergens, this protein directly promotes the accumulation of eosinophils, a prominent feature of allergic inflammatory reactions. Binds to CCR3. Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family.

Product Notes

The Rat EOTAXIN 1 ccl11 (Catalog #AAA031966) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA031966 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat EOTAXIN 1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Eotaxin 1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
