Mouse Deoxyribonuclease gamma (DNASE1L3) ELISA Kit
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess intra-assay precision.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays)
Three samples of known concentration were tested in forty separate assays to assess inter-assay precision.

The predicted 306-amino acid protein was 45% identical to that of DNASE1. Northern blot analysis showed that DNASE1L3 was expressed primarily in spleen and liver cells. The predominant mRNA was 1.3 kb, although there were 2 other transcripts. The purified recombinant protein had DNase activity in vitro that, unlike that of DNASE1, was not inhibited by G-actin.
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate DNASE1L3 in samples. An antibody specific for DNASE1L3 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyDNASE1L3 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for DNASE1L3 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of DNASE1L3 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
DNASE1L3: Has DNA hydrolytic activity. Does not bind to actin. Cleaves chromatin DNA to nucleosomal units. Defects in DNASE1L3 are the cause of systemic lupus erythematosus type 16 (SLEB16). A rare autosomal recessive form of systemic lupus erythematosus with childhood onset, characterized by high frequency of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies and lupus nephritis. Systemic lupus erythematosus is a chronic, relapsing, inflammatory, and often febrile multisystemic disorder of connective tissue, characterized principally by involvement of the skin, joints, kidneys and serosal membranes. It is of unknown etiology, but is thought to represent a failure of the regulatory mechanisms of the autoimmune system. The disease is marked by a wide range of system dysfunctions, an elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and the formation of LE cells in the blood or bone marrow. Belongs to the DNase I family.

Product Notes
The Mouse DNASE1L3 dnase1l3 (Catalog #AAA285079) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA285079 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse DNASE1L3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Deoxyribonuclease gamma, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
