Related Product Information for anti-TUBGCP4 antibody
This gene encodes a component of the gamma-tubulin ring complex, which is required for microtubule nucleation. In mammalian cells, the protein localizes to centrosomes in association with gamma-tubulin. Crystal structure analysis revealed a structure composed of five helical bundles arranged around conserved hydrophobic cores. An exposed surface area located in the C-terminal domain is essential and sufficient for direct binding to gamma-tubulin. Mutations in this gene that alter microtubule organization are associated with microcephaly and chorioretinopathy. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.TUBGCP4 (Tubulin Gamma Complex Associated Protein 4) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with TUBGCP4 include Microcephaly And Chorioretinopathy, Autosomal Recessive, 3 and Autosomal Recessive Chorioretinopathy-Microcephaly Syndrome. Among its related pathways are Regulation of PLK1 Activity at G2/M Transition and Cell Cycle, Mitotic. GO annotations related to this gene include structural constituent of cytoskeleton. An important paralog of this gene is TUBGCP6.

Product Notes

The TUBGCP4 tubgcp4 (Catalog #AAA2560631) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The TUBGCP4 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TUBGCP4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:500-1:2000 ELISA: 1:5000-1:10000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TUBGCP4 tubgcp4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TUBGCP4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
