NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a plasma membrane protein that hydrolyzes extracellular ATP and ADP to AMP. Inhibition of this protein's activity may confer anticancer benefits. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2015]
Uniprot Description
ENTPD1: In the nervous system, could hydrolyze ATP and other nucleotides to regulate purinergic neurotransmission. Could also be implicated in the prevention of platelet aggregation by hydrolyzing platelet-activating ADP to AMP. Hydrolyzes ATP and ADP equally well. Belongs to the GDA1/CD39 NTPase family. 5 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The CD39 entpd1 (Catalog #AAA219870) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD39 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunofluorescence (IF). Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD39 entpd1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD39, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
