Store at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. This product is photosensitive and should be protected from light. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.

Related Product Information for anti-CD172g antibody
Mouse anti Human CD172g antibody, clone OX119 recognizes human SIRP gamma, a 55kD signal regulatory protein which is a member of the immunoglobulin gene superfamily. SIRP gamma, also known as CD172g, is expressed on most T lymphocytes and a subset of B-cells but is absent on myeloid cells. CD172g has a truncated cytoplasmic tail, which is similar to SIRP beta, but unlike SIRP beta CD172g does not require DAP12 for expression at the cell surface. CD172g, like SIRP alpha, binds to CD47 inducing apoptosis. It is also involved in the negative regulation of receptor tyrosine kinase-coupled signalling.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the signal-regulatory protein (SIRP) family, and also belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. SIRP family members are receptor-type transmembrane glycoproteins known to be involved in the negative regulation of receptor tyrosine kinase-coupled signaling processes. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

SIRPG: Probable immunoglobulin-like cell surface receptor. On binding with CD47, mediates cell-cell adhesion. Engagement on T- cells by CD47 on antigen-presenting cells results in enhanced antigen-specific T-cell proliferation and costimulates T-cell activation. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 20p13

Cellular Component: membrane; plasma membrane; integral to membrane

Molecular Function: protein binding

Biological Process: negative regulation of cell proliferation; cell-cell signaling; positive regulation of cell proliferation; positive regulation of cell-cell adhesion; positive regulation of T cell activation; cell adhesion; blood coagulation; leukocyte migration

Product Notes

The CD172g sirpg (Catalog #AAA214394) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD172g can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS). Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x106 cells in 100ul. Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: Neat; Maximum Dilution: 1/10. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD172g sirpg for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD172g, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
