20mM Tris, 150mM NaCl, pH8.0, containing 1mM EDTA, 1mM DTT, 0.01% SKL, 5% Trehalose and Proclin300.
Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Testing Data
(Interleukin 11 (IL-11) is a multifunctional cytokine. It is a key regulator of multiple events in hematopoiesis, most notably the stimulation of megakaryocyte maturation. IL-11 has been demonstrated to improve platelet recovery after chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia, induce acute phase proteins, modulate antigen-antibody responses, participate in the regulation of bone cell proliferation and differentiation IL-11 causes bone-resorption. Besides, IL-11 have been proved can promote migration of A549 cells, 5×104 cells were seeded into 6 well plates. After cell confluent, replace with DMEM without serum overnight. Using a (yellow) pipette tip make a straight scratch, simulating a wound, then washing the wells three times with PBS. Adding 1% serum standard DMEM containing various concentrations of recombinan human IL-11 to each well, incubating the plate for 48 hours at 37, 5% CO2. The results observed by inverted microscope was shown in Figure.(A) A549 cells cultured in DMEM with 100ng/mL IL-11 for 48h; (B) A549 cells cultured in DMEM before addition IL-11.Figure. Wound healing assay of A549 cells after stimulated with IL-11.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Accurate Molecular Mass: 20kDa
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the gp130 family of cytokines. These cytokines drive the assembly of multisubunit receptor complexes, all of which contain at least one molecule of the transmembrane signaling receptor IL6ST (gp130). This cytokine is shown to stimulate the T-cell-dependent development of immunoglobulin-producing B cells. It is also found to support the proliferation of hematopoietic stem cells and megakaryocyte progenitor cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2012]

Product Notes
The IL11 il11 (Catalog #AAA2122266) is an Active Protein and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is Pro22~Leu199. AAA Biotech's Interleukin 11 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Cell Culture, Activity Assays. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL11 il11 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interleukin 11, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
