Interleukin 2 Receptor Beta (IL2Rb) Active Protein | IL2Rb active protein
Active Interleukin 2 Receptor Beta (IL2Rb)
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 2-8°C.
Aliquot and store at -80°C.
Stability:
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Activity Data
(IL2RB (interleukin-2 receptor subunit beta) is a heterotrimeric protein expressed on the surface of certain immune cells, such as lymphocytes, which binds and responds to a cytokine called IL-2. Thus we have conducted a binding ELISA assay to detect the interaction of recombinant mouse IL2RB with recombinant mouse IL2. Briefly, IL2RB were diluted serially in PBS, with 0.01%BSA (pH 7.4). Duplicate samples of 100uL were then transferred to IL2-coated microtiter wells and incubated for 2h at 37 degree C. Wells were washed with PBST and incubated for 1h with anti-IL2RB pAb, then aspirated and washed 3 times. After incubation with HRP labelled secondary antibody, wells were aspirated and washed 3 times. With the addition of substrate solution, wells were incubated 15-25 minutes at 37 degree C. Finally, add 50uL stop solution to the wells and read at 450nm immediately. The binding activity of IL2RB with IL2 was shown in Figure 1 and this effect was in a dose dependent manner.)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Accurate Molecular Mass: 27kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE reducing conditions.
NCBI Description
The interleukin 2 receptor is composed of alpha and beta subunits. The beta subunit encoded by this gene is very homologous to the human beta subunit and also shows structural similarity to other cytokine receptors. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
IL2RB: Receptor for interleukin-2. This beta subunit is involved in receptor mediated endocytosis and transduces the mitogenic signals of IL2. Non-covalent dimer of an alpha and a beta subunit. IL2R exists in 3 different forms: a high affinity dimer, an intermediate affinity monomer (beta subunit), and a low affinity monomer (alpha subunit). The high and intermediate affinity forms also associate with a gamma subunit. Interacts with SHB upon interleukin stimulation. Interacts with HTLV-1 accessory protein p12I. Belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family. Type 4 subfamily.

Product Notes
The IL2Rb il2rb (Catalog #AAA2097343) is an Active Protein produced from E. coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Active Interleukin 2 Receptor Beta (IL2Rb) reacts with Mus musculus (Mouse) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Interleukin 2 Receptor Beta (IL2Rb) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Cell culture; Activity Assays; In vivo assays. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL2Rb il2rb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interleukin 2 Receptor Beta (IL2Rb), Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
