Preparation and Storage
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8 degree C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80 degree C for 12 months.
Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the targetprotein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation andprecipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this protein is lessthan 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a receptor tyrosine kinase that has been implicated in nervous system development, specifically in the maintenance of neural progenitor cell fate, neurite extension and synapse formation. The encoded protein, likely a pseudokinase that lacks catalytic activity, may also regulate adipogenesis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2015]

Uniprot Description

ROR1: Tyrosine-protein kinase receptor whose role is not yet clear. Expressed strongly in human heart, lung and kidney, but weakly in the CNS. Isoform Short is strongly expressed in fetal and adult CNS and in a variety of human cancers, including those originating from CNS or PNS neuroectoderm. Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. Tyr protein kinase family. ROR subfamily. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Protein kinase, tyrosine (receptor); EC 2.7.10.1; Protein kinase, TK; Kinase, protein; TK group; Ror family

Cellular Component: membrane; integral to plasma membrane; integral to membrane; receptor complex

Molecular Function: transferase activity; Wnt-protein binding; protein-tyrosine kinase activity; transferase activity, transferring phosphorus-containing groups; nucleotide binding; kinase activity; transmembrane receptor protein tyrosine kinase activity; ATP binding; protein kinase activity

Product Notes

The ROR1 ror1 (Catalog #AAA2010915) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Receptor Tyrosine Kinase Like Orphan Receptor 1 (ROR1) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ROR1 ror1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: The target protein is fused with two N-terminal Tags, His-tag and T7-tag, its sequence is listed below. MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MASMTGGQQM GRGSEF-L SAVRFMEELG ECTFGKIYKG HLYLPGMDHA QLVAIKTLKD YNNPQQWTEF QQEASLMAEL HHPNIVCLLG AVTQEQPVCM LFEYMNQGDL HEFLIMRSPH SDVGCSSDED GTVKSSLDHG DFLHIAIQIA AGMEYLSSHF FVHKDLAARN ILIGEQLHVK ISDLGLSREI YSADYYRVQS KSSLPIRWMP PEAIMYGKFS SDSDIWSFGV VLWEIFSFGL QPYYGFSNQE VIEMVRK. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Receptor Tyrosine Kinase Like Orphan Receptor 1 (ROR1), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
