100 ug IgG in PBS, pH 7.4, purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Applicable Applications for anti-TNFRSF17 antibody
Western Blot
Application Notes
Western Blot: Use at 2-5 ug/ml. A band of approximately 27 kD is detected using K562 cell lysate as a positive control.
Antigen
A synthetic peptide corresponding to the carboxy terminus of human BCMA.
Stabilizer
None
Preservatives
0.02% sodium azide
Dilutions Instructions
Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor is preferentially expressed in mature B lymphocytes, and may be important for B cell development and autoimmune response. This receptor has been shown to specifically bind to the tumor necrosis factor (ligand) superfamily, member 13b (TNFSF13B/TALL-1/BAFF), and to lead to NF-kappaB and MAPK8/JNK activation. This receptor also binds to various TRAF family members, and thus may transduce signals for cell survival and proliferation. [provided by RefSeq]

Uniprot Description

TNFRSF17: Receptor for TNFSF13B/BLyS/BAFF and TNFSF13/APRIL. Promotes B-cell survival and plays a role in the regulation of humoral immunity. Activates NF-kappa-B and JNK. A chromosomal aberration involving TNFRSF17 is found in a form of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). Translocation t(4;16)(q26;p13) with IL2.

Product Notes

The TNFRSF17 tnfrsf17 (Catalog #AAA194177) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's BCMA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot. Western Blot: Use at 2-5 ug/ml. A band of approximately 27 kD is detected using K562 cell lysate as a positive control. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TNFRSF17 tnfrsf17 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "BCMA, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
