Related Product Information for anti-CD25 antibody
CD25 (IL2Ralpha, Tac) is a ligand-binding alpha subunit of interleukin 2 receptor (IL2R). Together with beta and gamma subunit CD25 constitues the high affinity IL2R, whereas CD25 alone serves as the low affinity IL2R. CD25 expression rapidly increases upon T cell activation. The 55kDa CD25 molecule is enzymatically cleaved and shed from the cell surface as a soluble 45kDa s-Tac, whose concentration in serum can be used as a marker of T cell activation. Expression of CD25 indicates the neoplastic phenotype of mast cells. Humanized anti CD25 antibodies represent a useful tool to reduce the incidence of allograft rejection as well as the severity of graft versus host reaction, and radioimmunoconjugates of anti-CD25 antibodies can be used against CD25 expressing lymphomas.

IL2RA: Receptor for interleukin-2. Non-covalent dimer of an alpha and a beta subunit. IL2R exists in 3 different forms: a high affinity dimer, an intermediate affinity monomer (beta subunit), and a low affinity monomer (alpha subunit). The high and intermediate affinity forms also associate with a gamma subunit.

Product Notes

The CD25 il2ra (Catalog #AAA1801779) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Ms CD25 Purified reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD25 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (QC tested), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry-Frozen (IHC-F). FC/FACS: Recommended dilution: 1-4ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD25 il2ra for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD25, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
