Human Anti-Muellerian Hormone Type-2 Receptor (AMHR2) ELISA Kit | AMHR2 elisa kit
Human Anti-Muellerian Hormone Type-2 Receptor (AMHR2) ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with human GHAb antibody. GHAb present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated human GHAb Antibody is added and binds to GHAb in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated GHAb antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of human GHAb. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes the receptor for the anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) which, in addition to testosterone, results in male sex differentiation. AMH and testosterone are produced in the testes by different cells and have different effects. Testosterone promotes the development of male genitalia while the binding of AMH to the encoded receptor prevents the development of the mullerian ducts into uterus and Fallopian tubes. Mutations in this gene are associated with persistent Mullerian duct syndrome type II. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. Uniprot Description
MISR2: On ligand binding, forms a receptor complex consisting of two type II and two type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors phosphorylate and activate type I receptors which autophosphorylate, then bind and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators. Receptor for anti-Muellerian hormone. Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. TKL Ser/Thr protein kinase family. TGFB receptor subfamily.
Protein type: EC 2.7.11.30; Protein kinase, TKL; Kinase, protein; Protein kinase, Ser/Thr (receptor); Membrane protein, integral; TKL group; STKR family; Type2 subfamily
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 12q13
Molecular Function: hormone binding; protein binding; receptor activity
Biological Process: sex differentiation; signal transduction
Disease: Persistent Mullerian Duct Syndrome, Types I And Ii

Product Notes
The Human AMHR2 amhr2 (Catalog #AAA1603239) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA1603239 ELISA Kit recognizes Human AMHR2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Anti-Muellerian Hormone Type-2 Receptor (AMHR2), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
