Rabbit Porphyromonas gingivalis Gingipain R1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-rgpA antibody
Rabbit anti-Porphyromonas gingivalis Gingipain R1 polyclonal Antibody
Constituents: 50% Glycerol, 0.01M PBS, PH 7.4
Thiol protease which is believed to participate in intracellular degradation and turnover of proteins. Its proteolytic activity is a major factor in both periodontal tissue destruction and in bacterial host defense mechanisms. Activates complement C3 and C5.
Description:
rgpA polyclonal antibody MBS1497288 was produced in the rabbit immunized by using the Recombinant Porphyromonas gingivalis Gingipain R1 protein (228-720AA) as the immunogen. The target protein rgpA is a thiol protease. It acts synergistically with RgpB to catalyze the maturation of fimbrial subunits, such as FimA (By similarity). Its proteolytic activity is a major factor in both periodontal tissue destruction and in evasion of host defense mechanisms (Probable). it requires cysteine for activation and Ca2+ and/or Mg2+ for stabilization.
This Rabbit anti-Porphyromonas gingivalis rgpA Polyclonal antibody was tested in the ELISA. The non-conjugated IgG got purified by protein G and reached up to 95% in purity. It only reacts with the rgpA proteins of porphyromonas gingivalis-origin and may be used to detect the endogenous levels of rgpA protein.

Product Notes
The Porphyromonas gingivalis Gingipain R1 rgpa (Catalog #AAA1497288) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti-Porphyromonas gingivalis Gingipain R1 polyclonal Antibody reacts with Porphyromonas gingivalis and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Porphyromonas gingivalis Gingipain R1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Porphyromonas gingivalis Gingipain R1 rgpa for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Porphyromonas gingivalis Gingipain R1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
