Form/Format
Human TSLP was Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered concentrated (1.0mg/ml) solution in 20mM PB, pH7.4, 150mM NaCl.
Applicable Applications for TSLP recombinant protein
Cell Assay
Species
Human
Endotoxin Level
<1.0EU/ug of recombinant protein as determined by the LAL method.
Reconstitution
A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.
Preparation and Storage
The lyophilized protein is stable for at least one year from date of receipt at -70 degree C. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2 degree -8 degree C for one month, or at -20 degree C for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Related Product Information for TSLP recombinant protein
Recombinant Human TSLP was expressed in E Coli cells. The protein accession number is Q969D9
TSLP is a hemopoietic protein that was initially identified from mouse thymic stromal cell line that promoted the development of B cells. TSLP overlaps biological activities with IL-7 and can co-stimulate growth of thymocytes and mature T cells alongside supporting lymphopoiesis. Human TSLP shares approximately 43% amino acid sequence identity with mouse TSLP. Human TSLP has been detected in many tissues although the highest level of expression has been found in the heart, liver, testis and prostate. TSLP signals through a heterodimeric receptor complex that consists of IL-7R-alpha and the TSLP-R.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a hemopoietic cytokine proposed to signal through a heterodimeric receptor complex composed of the thymic stromal lymphopoietin receptor and the IL-7R alpha chain. It mainly impacts myeloid cells and induces the release of T cell-attracting chemokines from monocytes and enhances the maturation of CD11c(+) dendritic cells. The protein promotes T helper type 2 (TH2) cell responses that are associated with immunity in various inflammatory diseases, including asthma, allergic inflammation and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The protein is therefore considered a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of such diseases. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. Uniprot Description

TSLP: Cytokine that induces the release of T-cell-attracting chemokines from monocytes and, in particular, enhances the maturation of CD11c(+) dendritic cells. Can induce allergic inflammation by directly activating mast cells.

Protein type: Secreted, signal peptide; Secreted

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 5q22.1

Product Notes

The TSLP tslp (Catalog #AAA517735) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's TSLP can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Cell Assay. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TSLP tslp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TSLP, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
