Application Notes
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry used as a matched isotype negative control reagent to asses the level of non-specific binding of mouse IgG1 monoclonal antibodies to rat cells.
Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul of the optimal working dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100ul.. Recommend adjusting the concentration of this reagent to the same as that of the test reagent.
Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Immunogen
Human T lymphocytes.
Hybridoma
Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the NSI mouse myeloma cell line.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add glycerol (40-50%) and aliquot. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Product Notes

The IgG1 Murine Negative Control (Catalog #AAA655701) is an Isotype Control produced from Tissue culture supernatant and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IgG1 Murine Negative Control (For rat tissue) (Azide Free) reacts with Human, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IgG1 Murine Negative Control can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry used as a matched isotype negative control reagent to asses the level of non-specific binding of mouse IgG1 monoclonal antibodies to rat cells. Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 10ul of the optimal working dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Recommend adjusting the concentration of this reagent to the same as that of the test reagent. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IgG1 Murine Negative Control for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IgG1 Murine Negative Control, Isotype Control" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
