Applicable Applications for PLSCR1 sirna
RNA Interference (RNAi)
Quality Control
Oligonucleotide synthesis is monitored base by base through trityl analysis to ensure appropriate coupling efficiency. The oligo is subsequently purified by affinity-solid phase extraction. The annealed RNA duplex is further analyzed by mass spectrometry to verify the exact composition of the duplex. Each lot is compared to the previous lot by mass spectrometry to ensure maximum lot-to-lot consistency.
Directions for Use
We recommends transfection with 100 nM siRNA 48 to 72 hours prior to cell lysis. Before resuspending, briefly centrifuge the tube to ensure the lyophilized siRNA is at the bottom of the tube. Resuspend the siRNA oligos to an appropriate concentration with DEPC water. For each vial, suitable for 250 transfections in 24 well plate (20 pmol for each well).
Components
We offer pre-designed sets of 3 different target-specific siRNA oligo duplexes of mouse PLSCR1 gene. Each vial contains 5 nmol of lyophilized siRNA. The duplexes can be transfected individually or pooled together to achieve knockdown of the target gene, which is most commonly assessed by qPCR or western blot. Our siRNA oligos are also chemically modified (2'-OMe) at no extra charge for increased stability and enhanced knockdown in vitro and in vivo.
Preparation and Storage
Shipped at 4 degree C. Store at -20 degree C for one year.

Uniprot Description

PLSCR1: May mediate accelerated ATP-independent bidirectional transbilayer migration of phospholipids upon binding calcium ions that results in a loss of phospholipid asymmetry in the plasma membrane. May play a central role in the initiation of fibrin clot formation, in the activation of mast cells and in the recognition of apoptotic and injured cells by the reticuloendothelial system. Belongs to the phospholipid scramblase family.

Protein type: Calcium-binding; Membrane protein, integral

Cellular Component: extracellular matrix; Golgi apparatus; membrane; integral to plasma membrane; integral to membrane; nucleolus; plasma membrane; cytosol; nucleus; lipid raft

Molecular Function: phospholipid scramblase activity; enzyme binding; DNA binding; calcium ion binding; CD4 receptor binding; SH3 domain binding; epidermal growth factor receptor binding

Biological Process: transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; positive regulation of apoptosis; apoptosis; phospholipid scrambling; phosphatidylserine biosynthetic process; negative regulation of viral genome replication; positive regulation of innate immune response; phospholipid transport; immune response; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; myeloid cell differentiation; negative regulation of protein binding; defense response to virus; regulation of mast cell activation

Product Notes

The PLSCR1 plscr1 (Catalog #AAA8221757) is a siRNA produced from Synthetic and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PLSCR1 siRNA (Mouse) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PLSCR1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, RNA Interference (RNAi). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PLSCR1 plscr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PLSCR1, siRNA" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
