SHP1 Phospho-Regulation Antibody Sampler Kit | SHP1K antibody sampler kit
SHP1 Phospho-Regulation
Background: SHP1 (PTP1C, SH-PTP1, or HCP) is a protein-tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) involved in cell migration, cell proliferation, and immune cell function. This phosphatase contains two N-terminal SH2 domains and a C-terminal phosphatasedomain. SHP1 associates with a variety of cytokine and growth factor receptors and regulates signal transduction throughdephosphorylation of these receptors or their downstream effectors. Downstream of receptor activation, SHP1 regulatesthe transcriptional activity stimulated by JAK/Stat and MAPK pathways. SHP1 activity is regulated by both tyrosine andserine phosphorylation. Phosphorylation of Tyr-536 and Tyr-564 stimulates phosphatase activity and promotes interaction with Grb-2. Serine phosphorylation at Ser-591 is mediated by PKCalpha and leads to inhibition of phosphatase activity. Thus, phosphorylation at tyrosine relative to serine residues may be regulated by different cell signaling pathways to control SHP1 activity.

Product Notes
The Human, Rat, Mouse SHP1K (Catalog #AAA474568) is an Antibody Sampler Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA474568 Antibody Sampler Kit recognizes Human, Rat, Mouse SHP1K. AAA Biotech's SHP1 Phospho-Regulation can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SHP1K for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SHP1 Phospho-Regulation, Antibody Sampler Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
