Uniprot Description

SERPINI2: is a member of the serine protease inhibitor (serpin) superfamily made up of proteins which play central roles in the regulation of a wide variety of physiological processes, including coagulation, fibrinolysis, development, malignancy and inflammation. The gene product may have a role in a growth-control, possibly growth-suppressing pathway and, when impaired, may be involved in pancreatic carcinogenesis. The protein is a member of the plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 family, a subset of the serpin superfamily whose members act as tissue-specific tPA inhibitors. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct protein isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes

The Mouse SERPINI2 serpini2 (Catalog #AAA9326772) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9326772 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse SERPINI2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "serpin peptidase inhibitor, clade I (pancpin) , member 2, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
