Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the target protein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss of this protein is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene likely encodes a member of the secernin family of proteins. A similar protein in rat functions in regulation of exocytosis in mast cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2009]
Uniprot Description
SCRN1: Regulates exocytosis in mast cells. Increases both the extent of secretion and the sensitivity of mast cells to stimulation with calcium. Belongs to the peptidase C69 family. Secernin subfamily.
Protein type: Unknown function

Product Notes
The SCRN1 scrn1 (Catalog #AAA2034126) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Recombinant Secernin 1 (SCRN1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Secernin 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SCRN1 scrn1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Secernin 1, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
