Related Product Information for Dbh peptide
An 18 amino acid peptide sequence near the NH2-terminus of rat brain dopamine transporter (1) was used to generate anti-rat DAT. This region is presumably from the cytoplasmic domain.

Dopamine transporter (DAT) is plasma membrane transporter for the termination of dopaminergic neurotransmission by its high affinity Na+ and Cl-reuptake of dopamine into presynaptic terminals. This protein is the target of psychomotor stimulants such as amphetamines or cocaine. DAT (human 620 aa; rat/mouse 619 aa glycoprotein) is predicted to contain 12 transmembrane domains with N and C-termini in the cytoplasm.

Product Notes

The Dbh dbh (Catalog #AAA659439) is a Peptide produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Dopamine Transporter, Rat can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA and Antibody Blocking. Not suitable for Western Blot. Dilution: ELISA: Coat plates at 1ug/ml. Optimal dilution to be determined by researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Dbh dbh for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Dopamine Transporter, Rat, Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
