Rat Phospholipid scramblase 1 (PLSCR1) ELISA Kit | PLSCR1 elisa kit
Rat Phospholipid scramblase 1 (PLSCR1) ELISA Kit
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Background: Scramblases are members of the general family of transmembrane lipid transporters known as flippases. The inner-leaflet facing the inside of the cell contains negatively-charged amino-phospholipids and phosphatidylethanolamine. The outer-leaflet, facing the outside environment, contains phosphatidylcholine and sphingomyelin. Scramblase is an enzyme, present in the cell membrane, that can transport (scramble) the negatively-charged phospholipids from the inner-leaflet to the outer-leaflet, and vice versa.Wiedmer et al. (2000) determined that the PLSCR1 gene contains 9 exons and spans about 30 kb. The first exon is untranslated. By deletion analysis of PLSCR1 promoter-reporter constructs, they found that 97% of the promoter activity resides between -95 bp in the 5-prime flanking region to +60 bp of the first exon.

Product Notes
The Rat PLSCR1 plscr1 (Catalog #AAA9712106) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9712106 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat PLSCR1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Phospholipid scramblase 1 (PLSCR1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
