Intended Use: The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm using a spectrophotometer. In order to measure the concentration ofXCL1in the sample, This XCL1ELISA Kit includes a set of calibration standards. The calibration standards are assayed at the same time as the samples and allow the operator to produce a standard curve of Optical Density versusXCL1concentration. The concentration ofXCL1in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

This antimicrobial gene encodes a member of the chemokine superfamily. Chemokines function in inflammatory and immunological responses, inducing leukocyte migration and activation. The encoded protein is a member of the C-chemokine subfamily, retaining only two of four cysteines conserved in other chemokines, and is thought to be specifically chemotactic for T cells. This gene and a closely related family member are located on the long arm of chromosome 1. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2014]

Product Notes

The Rat XCL1 xcl1 (Catalog #AAA3808111) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA3808111 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat XCL1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Lymphotactin (XCL1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
