Principle of the Assay: This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Capture antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the target amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of target can be calculated.

NCBI Description

G-protein coupled receptor for psychoactive cannabinoids; may mediate inhibition of NO production and participate in retrograde signaling by endocannabinoids [RGD, Feb 2006]

Uniprot Description

CNR1: Involved in cannabinoid-induced CNS effects. Acts by inhibiting adenylate cyclase. Could be a receptor for anandamide. Inhibits L-type Ca(2+) channel current. Isoform 2 and isoform 3 have altered ligand binding. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The Rat CB1R/CNR1 cnr1 (Catalog #AAA7606742) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7606742 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat CB1R/CNR1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CB1R/CNR1 (Cannabinoid receptor 1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
