Rabbit Interferon-alpha/beta Receptor alpha (Phospho-Tyr466) Antibody | anti-IFNAR1 antibody
Rabbit Interferon-alpha/beta Receptor alpha (Phospho-Tyr466) Antibody
IF/ICC: 1:100 - 1:500
ELISA: 1:20000-1:40000
IMPORTANT: For western blot, incubate membrane with diluted primary Ab in 5% w/v milk , 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween®20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight.
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(At 1/100 staining Mouse testis tissue by IHC-P. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. The sample was then blocked and incubated with the primary antibody at 4°C overnight. An HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit antibody was used as the secondary antibody.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Staining Hela cells(heat shock treatment) by IF/ICC. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1%Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were then incubated with primary Ab (MBS9612785) and mouse anti-beta tubulin Ab for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) Ab(Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) Ab (Green) were used as the secondary antibody.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(At 1/100 staining Rat kidney tissue by IHC-P. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. The sample was then blocked and incubated with the primary antibody at 4°C overnight. An HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit antibody was used as the secondary antibody.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is a type I membrane protein that forms one of the two chains of a receptor for interferons alpha and beta. Binding and activation of the receptor stimulates Janus protein kinases, which in turn phosphorylate several proteins, including STAT1 and STAT2. The encoded protein also functions as an antiviral factor. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
IFNAR1: receptor for interferons alpha and beta. Belongs to the type II cytokine family of receptors. Binding to type I IFNs triggers tyrosine phosphorylation of a number of proteins including JAKs, TYK2, STAT proteins and IFNR alpha- and beta-subunits themselves. Tyk2 tyrosine kinase is essential for stable cell surface expression of IFNAR1. Present in all tissues and even on the surface of most IFN-resistant cells.

Product Notes
The IFNAR1 ifnar1 (Catalog #AAA001077) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit Interferon-alpha/beta Receptor alpha (Phospho-Tyr466) Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Interferon-alpha/beta Receptor alpha (Phospho-Tyr466) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA), Immunofluorescence (IF). IHC: 1:50 - 1:200 IF/ICC: 1:100 - 1:500 ELISA: 1:20000-1:40000 IMPORTANT: For western blot, incubate membrane with diluted primary Ab in 5% w/v milk, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween®20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IFNAR1 ifnar1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interferon-alpha/beta Receptor alpha (Phospho-Tyr466), Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
