Related Product Information for PDIA3 elisa kit
Intended Uses: This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Rabbit PDIA3 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Sandwich-ELISA as the method. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to PDIA3. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for PDIA3 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain PDIA3, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of PDIA3. You can calculate the concentration of PDIA3 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a protein of the endoplasmic reticulum that interacts with lectin chaperones calreticulin and calnexin to modulate folding of newly synthesized glycoproteins. The protein was once thought to be a phospholipase; however, it has been demonstrated that the protein actually has protein disulfide isomerase activity. It is thought that complexes of lectins and this protein mediate protein folding by promoting formation of disulfide bonds in their glycoprotein substrates. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

GRP58: a protein disulfide isomerase found in the endoplasmic reticulum lumen. Catalyzes the rearrangement of both intrachain and interchain disulfide bonds in proteins to form the native structures. An essential component of the peptide-loading complex of the major histocompatibility complex class I pathway.

Product Notes

The Rabbit PDIA3 pdia3 (Catalog #AAA2506474) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2506474 ELISA Kit recognizes Rabbit PDIA3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PDIA3, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
