Host
Rabbit
Specificity
The reagents were evaluated for potency, purity and specificity using most or all of the following techniques; immunoelectrophoresis, cross-immunoelectrophoresis, single radial immunodiffusion (ouchterlony), block titration, ELISA, immunoblotting and enzyme inhibition.
Purity/Purification
The IgG (7s) fraction is prepared from the antiserumby ammonium sulphate precipitation and ion exchange chromatography.
Form/Format
Purified hyperimmune rabbit IgG lyophilized from solution in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2)
Applicable Applications for anti-Phosphatase alkaline antibody
ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoflorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
Application Notes
Working dilutions in non-precipitating antibody techniques may vary widely , but may be between 1/1000 and 1/80000.
Immunogen
Akaline phosphatase isolated and purified from Escherichia Coli. Freund complete adjuvant is used in the first steps of immunization procedure.
Packing
Vial with 10mg IgG (7S) fraction lyophilised from phosphate buffered saline.
Physicochemical Characteristics
IgG protein concentration 10mg/ml. No foreign proteins added.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute by adding 1.0ml sterile distilled water; spun down to remove insoluble particles, divided into small aliquots, frozen and stored at or below -20°C. Prior to use, an aliquot is thawed slowly at room temperature, spun down again and used to prepare working dilutions by adding sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH7.2). Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. Working dilutions should be stored at 4°C, not refrozen, and preferably used same day. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation. It will not affect the preformance of the product.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilised store at 4°C
Reconstituted at or below -20°C

Product Notes

The Phosphatase alkaline (Catalog #AAA573280) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Phosphatase alkaline can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoflorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Working dilutions in non-precipitating antibody techniques may vary widely, but may be between 1/1000 and 1/80000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Phosphatase alkaline for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Phosphatase alkaline, Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
