Form/Format
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.4, 0.05% thimerosal. Reconstitute with 20ml sterile ddH2O. The product will yield a 10% suspension of fixed and killed S. aureus, Cowan I strain.
Application Notes
Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation.
Binding capacity
One ml of the 10% suspension is capable of binding 1.6mg of rabbit IgG.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degree C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
